I’m an independent sports photographer covering Division I and professional athletics.

My work is focused on the moments that shape a game. The action, the reactions, and the details that matter. Not just what the play looks like, but what it means in the moment as it unfolds.

I started in portraiture, which still influences how I approach sports;  paying attention to expression, body language, and the space around the subject just as much as the play itself. That balance between structure and unpredictability is what keeps me in it.

Preparation is a big part of the process. I spend time studying teams, understanding tendencies, and getting a sense of how a game might move. It doesn’t remove the unpredictability, but it puts me in a better position to stay with it and be ready when something shifts.

I’m comfortable working in fast paced, deadline driven environments to provide images that are accurate, caption ready, and consistent from start to finish.
